How do I go about adopting a Country Manor Westie?
When we have a litter of puppies born, we like to wait several days to make sure mom and puppies
are happy and healthy. At that point, we start taking a $100 deposit to reserve a puppy. Once the puppies
are 4-5 weeks old, you are more than welcome to visit our home and meet the mother and her puppies. Once you decide
which puppy you would like to adopt, we will put a collar with your name on it on the puppy. At that point, half deposit
is due. Once the puppy has been vet checked, properly weaned, and we feel he/she is socially ready to leave us, you
may come to pick up your puppy at which point the remaining balance is due. This is usually around the 8-9 week old
age point.
Your initial $100 is refundable should you change your mind or circumstances change
that you no longer wish to adopt a puppy. We take this deposit via credit card or you may simply mail us a check
in the mail.
If you are picking up your puppy, final payment can be in cash, credit card (visa/mastercard,discover),
paypal, or we will take a check with a driver's license. Sometimes we will opt to hold AKC papers until your check
has cleared.

What if I live far away?
We have puppies living all over the
world. From Alaska, to the Bahamas, to even as far as Hong Kong. We are happy to talk with you and get a understanding
of what type of puppy would best fit into your family.
When we have families who live too far to visit, we usually
like to spend time on the phone talking with them and hopefully get better understanding of what type of westie they
are looking for. Do they want the alpha dog, do they want the laid back puppy, etc. When the puppies are old enough,
we will start to evaluate their personalities along with their appearance to help pick out a puppy best suited to their needs.
At that point we will send pictures and make our recommendations. Once both parties are in agreement as to which puppy
they would like, half deposit is due.
If we are meeting you, we do charge a delivery fee based on the distance
we need to travel to meet you.
If we are going to be shipping your puppy, we will need final payment one week prior
to shipping. Shipping is typically $275 which includes the crate.

What comes with my puppy?
Your puppy will come
to you with it's first shots/worming. We will have the puppy vet checked by our vet and you will receive a health
certificate. A one year health guarantee is also included with your puppy. Limited AKC papers will also given
unless prior arrangements have been made for full registration. We also supply you with puppy food and vitamins and
feeding instructions.
